The scripture states in Ephesians 5:1 (AMP) for us to be imitators of God as well beloved children. God wants his people to take dominion in the earth just like He has dominion in heaven. He even states for us to pray "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10). God has such loving desire for us and our well being, that he sent His son Jesus to the earth to restore our rights to dominate (rule, reign, exercise authority, stewardship).
